Topic: Ps3 games i manage to play with right hand only, standard controller

I had this http://www.accessibility.nl/games/forum … php?id=589 thread going for a while, but i did not manage to play some of the suggestions i got so I gave up that list.
This post is a list of the games i enjoy on the ps3 system using the standard ps3 controller. My left arm i completely paralysed. I use just my right hand and sometimes press the controller against my thigh for R2 L2 buttons.

Here is the list so far.

GtaIV
Fallout3 (thank god for this game!, add ons are now available for the Ps3)
Saints row2
Resitance FOM
Resitance 2 (a great fps, multiplayer mode i often a bit fast paced, but manageble)
Star wars: force unleashed (not a very good game)
Ratchet and clank
Skate
Skate 2
Gran tourismo HD
Gran Tourismo V Prolouge (amazing driving simulation)
Elder Scrolls: oblivion


What really pisses me off is that 90% of all ps3 games could be playable if i could decide my own controller layout.
Would anyone be up for an email campain to all major developers + sony?, and also thank yous to bethestda (fallout 3), and insomiac (resistance).

I bought the access controller and it is a piece of shit, but a good step in the right direction. The problem is feel/sensitivity of the buttons.

what exactly was it about the feel and sensetivity of the buttons on the Access controller that you didn't like.

This is important as there are many types of switch out there and I need to know what people have problems with so I don't include them in my own equipment.

@GeoffH, I'm sorry it has taken so long to respond. The buttons are not Analouge and are too hard/difficult to press. The D-pad i completely useless, when i try to press up, it presses "up, left and right". If feels like a cheap ripoff product. Ben Heck, who designed it must really be dissapointed. Do you live in Nottingham?

Hi pesnp.

Yes I do live in Nottingham. Although I do get around the country from time to time.

Analogue buttons are hard to do in the small volumes we are talking about. Without propper tooling and not making them in hundreds of thousands they become very expensive.

I do have an idea though. I will try it out and get back to you some time.
