Topic: Help needed!!!
Hello to all of you in this forum. My name is Joe, and I run a Health, Sport & Fitness Center for a company that provides services to adults with a wide array of special needs and disabilities. In the past month, I was handed an interesting development--in addition to my current duties, my CEO is allowing me to open and run a "rec center" for the people in my agency...and I have been given latitude to eventually purchase some full-size arcade games (vintage or current...up to about 8 of them) for people to play!
I have my personal favorites I'd like to choose from...but this rec center isn't about me. This is where all of you come in: I would like to hear from any of you who have a perspective on which games you feel would be beneficial for me to put in my rec center, that will beneficial, fun and accessible to people with a WIDE ARRAY of disabilities.
Should I go with something basic, like a classic Donkey Kong machine--one button, one joystick? A shooting game that requires that type of coordination, such as Police Trainer or Revolution X? Maybe a joystick only machine such as Pac-Man or even two joysticks with Crazy Climber? A driving game, such as Cruisin' USA? What have your experiences been as to favorites, and games that are easy to play?
I appreciate any feedback this form may provide. Thank you so much!
Joe
