Mad Max is a game based on the movie Mad Max: Fury Road. It’s an action-adventure game with an open world. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic era where water is hard to find but danger lurks everywhere. The point of the game is to get revenge on a gang of raiders who robbed max and left him for dead. The way to do this is to build the ultimate car called The Magnum Opus. Though the car may seem underwhelming at first, wait till you get some upgrades. For an adventure-action game there is a lot of driving involved. Not just racing but fighting with cars on the road as well, using hooks and bombs to wreck your opponents car. Besides driving there is also regular hand to hand combat with some weapons but in this wasteland ammo is hard to find and weapons don’t last long. Make strong allies, defeat enemies and collect scrap to prepare for revenge!

How to play Mad Max
Controls are pretty easy but are made for the Xbox controller even though the game is only for PC due to graphic constrictions on consoles. This is why it’s sometimes hard to find the right button or change the controls itself. The driving is the same as in most games with aswd and you use weapons with your mouse. Aiming with you right button and shooting with your left.
The combat is pretty easy as well, you only use your left mouse button to hit and your right to parry. No combo’s or other options except some finishers and the use of your trusty shotgun. You do stack up hits and if you have enough you will go into rage mode. In rage mode the game is slowed down and you do more damage. The game is pretty easy to get a hang of and doesn’t get a lot more difficult. The driving can be a bit tricky but it all depends on your vehicle. You progress through the story by doing objectives that lower the threat of a region alongside several missions.
This game is all about visual cues and the amazing way the game looks. Being unable to see makes it impossible to play this game.
Though there are some great sound effects and great ambience, the game can be played without the ability to hear. There are captions in every cut scene and all the tips and clues are in text and can be viewed again in the menu.
Playing this game with a physical disability is pretty hard but possible. You do need both your hands in almost every situation but having a one hand controller and a footpad could solve this. The controller options are limited but the Steam controller might solve this.
The gameplay is fairly easy and repetitive. There is no high learning curve or any really hard to beat objectives you need to complete before being able to progress in the main story line. I found some races in the game hard to beat but after some practice you should be able to beat them all.
